It all happened in 2015.  We had been living in our dream home for eight years and now had a young family.  We had the perfect life and the perfect home.  But something wasn’t right in our house and we had no idea what it was, we just weren’t happy there.  Everything seemed a struggle and our younger son at 2.5 years old was still not sleeping through the night.   We were looking for our next home and even contemplating building again.

Someone suggested getting a Shaman to clear the land and our home, she said our home was suffering from severe geopathic stress.  At the time we did not know what this was, but several conversations later, we were up to speed and phoned the Shaman to make an appointment to have our home ‘energetically cleared’.

When he arrived, he explained his approach and then got to work.  Using two dowsing rods he started walking the length of our site.  He didn’t walk for long before the dowsing rods got a reaction and both turned inwards.  He confirmed we had geopathic stress and that it was the most intense it could possibly be.  After more dowsing, this time across the width of the site, he identified that there were two ‘toxic geopathic stress lines’ of energy coming into the land and they crossed, exactly at the point where my son’s head lay at night.  We were dumbfounded.  This was the reason my son wasn’t sleeping well.

After doing a ceremony to clear the stress from the land he advised that our home would need to be energetically cleared often and that we should consider moving house in the long-term.  He confirmed that geopathic stress of this magnitude can cause and exasperate physical illness.

He cleared other energies from the land and from the rooms within our home, there were two spirits within the house and these were guided home.  That same night our son slept right through and woke at a sensible time in the morning.  We were so relieved.  That morning was like a new chapter for the four of us.  We instantly felt more peaceful and settled in our home and no longer felt that we had to move out and look for a new home.  Within a few weeks wildlife returned to our garden, we noticed songbirds, rabbits and hares, which was a real joy.  Our dream home was now our dream again.

Something else changed on the back of that home healing.

I would never be the same again.  I took to learning all about energy healing and cleansing energy from land and buildings.  Two years later I took a shamanic initiation in the Amazon Jungle with the Shipibo people and three years after that I qualified as a Shamanic Practitioner.
